Terms of Service

1. Service

ClawPage ("the Service") is a web extraction API operated at api.clawpage.xyz. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Extraction Credits

When you deposit USDC to your ClawPage account, you are purchasing non-refundable extraction credits. Each credit entitles you to one URL extraction. Credits are denominated in USDC for convenience but represent prepaid service credits, not stored funds. ClawPage does not hold, custody, or transmit money on your behalf.

Credits are:

Non-refundable — all credit purchases are final
Non-transferable — credits cannot be moved between accounts or converted back to cryptocurrency
Non-expiring — credits remain on your account until used
Consumed at the rate displayed at time of extraction (currently 0.01 USDC per URL)

3. Free Tier

Registered accounts receive 10 free extractions per rolling 24-hour period. The free tier may be modified or discontinued at any time.

4. x402 Payments

The Service accepts x402 micropayments (USDC on Base) for individual extractions without an account. These payments are final and non-refundable. Blockchain transactions are irreversible by nature.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights
Extract content for the purpose of harassment, surveillance, or fraud
Attempt to circumvent rate limits, payment requirements, or access controls
Resell extracted data in bulk as a competing extraction service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure

6. Content and Accuracy

ClawPage extracts and structures content from third-party websites. We do not control, verify, or endorse extracted content. Extraction results are provided on a best-effort basis — accuracy, completeness, and availability are not guaranteed.

7. Service Availability

The Service is provided in alpha. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. Unused credits will remain available when the Service resumes. If the Service is permanently discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT EXTRACTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLAWPAGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF CREDITS PURCHASED IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
